Carolina Alay, Founder and Executive DirectorAt the heart of our commitment lies a deep understanding of the unique strengths and challenges within the neurodiverse community. As Trauma Informed Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) with a naturalistic approach, we recognize the importance of personalized care and tailored interventions to foster growth and development. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring that each individual receives the highest quality of care that is both effective and compassionate.
One of the core ideas in Blue Minds is to generate solutions to our community. We have observed how difficult was for parents to schedule diagnostic evaluations that sometimes can take anywhere from 3 to 9 months to see a specialist or in some cases a nurse practitioner. This is why we decided to add to our service catalog the Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CDE), We understand the importance of early identification and intervention in addressing neurodevelopmental disorders. Our CDEs are conducted by a PhD.
In addition to our CDEs, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Spring and Summer camps. These camps provide a supportive and inclusive environment where children (2 to 4) of all abilities can thrive. From social skills development to recreational activities, our camps offer a range of opportunities for growth, learning, and meaningful connections. Our team of experienced professionals ensures that each camper receives the individualized support they need to succeed and have fun! This year we have a special opportunity, and it is the partnership with a renown local swimming school to provide our campers with a water safety class included for those attending.
